IRONPLATE STUDIOS IS AN ELITE AND PRIVATE personal training and nutrition studio with locations at the Monroe Center in Hoboken, NJ and the Brunswick Center in Jersey City, NJ. We specialize in strength and fitness, personal training, weight loss, physique development and transformation, sports nutrition, medical nutrition therapy and meal planning -- all in a private and motivating setting.

At IronPlate Studios, we believe that training and nutrition TOGETHER are the key to your health and fitness. If you fuel your body properly and train smart, you can be the best version of YOU there is. And we believe you can do this simply without gimmicks, fad diets and ineffective, unsustainable cleanses. We are a team of Certified Personal Trainers, Registered Dietitians and Exercise Physiologists that all have a combined and varied background in sports, competition, academia and our own struggles with weight and fitness. Because of this we are able to offer a broad spectrum of services, education, and knowledge to our clients.

Our Team

KRISTIN REISINGER

Founder

Kristin Reisinger, MS RD CSSD, is the founder and owner of IronPlate Studios, an elite and private fitness and nutrition studio with locations in Hoboken, NJ and Jersey City, NJ. A Personal Trainer for over 17 years, Registered Dietitian for over 10 years and Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) for 7 years with a background in obstacle course competitions and NPC Figure competitions, Kristin has helped hundreds of people in the tri-state area lose weight in a healthy way and achieve a physique and athleticism that they never thought possible.

Kristin also maintains clinical experience in exercise physiology and nutrition, with prior significant work history at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center’s Cardio-Pulmonary labs; St Michael's ICU, Newark, NJ in nutrition support; and Christ Hospital, Jersey City, as an inpatient and outpatient Registered Dietitian.

Caitlin Harrington

Caitlin Harrington, ACSM-CPT, PN-1 is an ACSM certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Personal Trainer as well as a Certified Nutritionist through Precision Nutrition.  She currently is the Director of IronPlate Online, IronPlate's elite Online Coaching and Virtual Training program. She has over 10 years of experience working with clients of all ages ranging from the general population to those who are recovering and rehabilitating from disease, injury or other limiting factors. She received her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from the University at Buffalo.

Caitlin wants her clients to leave each session feeling a little bit stronger and more knowledgeable so they can utilize the tools at their disposal to achieve their goals.

Caitlin previously lived in Hoboken and worked at IronPlate Studios as a Personal Trainer and Manager for 4 years. She now resides in Ballston Spa, NY with her husband Jon, almost 2 year old daughter Elise and dog Kiko. She enjoys summer, the outdoors, hiking, camping, traveling and relaxing anywhere by a lake. Caitlin is excited to be a part of the IronPlate team again and is looking forward to working with you on your journey to a healthier lifestyle!

 

Lindsay Arthur

Lindsay Arthur, NSCA-CPT is a Personal Trainer for IronPlate Studios.  She received her Bachelors of Science in Applied Exercise Science from University of New England where she ran on the cross-country team and worked as a strength and conditioning coach.  Lindsay has worked with a variety of populations ranging from high school athletes to the elderly.

Lindsay just recently moved to Hoboken and enjoys running, biking, hiking, lifting and anything that allows her to work up a sweat!

Lindsay believes that fitness should be a FUN and an exciting part of everyone’s day!

 

 

 

Kevin Steimle

Kevin

Kevin Steimle, NASM-CPT, is a Personal Trainer for IronPlate Studios with 5 years of experience in the fitness industry. He received his Bachelor's degree from Lehigh University where he competed on the track & field team as a sprinter and thrower. Kevin is a former New Jersey state record holder of the Javelin Throw.

Kevin began working as a personal trainer throughout college and continues to expand his expertise by working with a wide population of individuals ranging from athletes, seniors, and pre/post natal. He believes that workout routines should be fun and dynamic, and loves to challenge clients by incorporating boxing, TRX as well as kettlebells. His goal is to inspire people to become the best version of themselves and believes that fitness should be an integral part of everyones life.  

Kevin recently moved to Hoboken and can be found playing pick-up basketball, riding his bike along the Hudson or running around town. He enjoys traveling and is always looking for a new challenge.

 

 

Kristen Roche

Kristen Roche, ACE-CPT, is a Personal Trainer for IronPlate Studios. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Business at The University of Tampa.

Growing up she was an athlete in various sports which ultimately transformed into a love for health and fitness after college. She has been a group fitness instructor for the past 10 years where she loves to motivate and push clients to the next level, all while having fun. Kristen is well versed in various types of strength and conditioning styles of training such as HIIT, barbell, kettlebell and barre. Her diverse background allows her to create unique and effective workouts. She is a firm believer that a workout should be a positive boost of mental and physical energy needed to tackle daily stressors.

Kristen has lived in Jersey City for over 10 years and enjoys trying all flavors of fitness. She also loves to cycle in the warmer months, hit the beach and travel the world.  

 

Emily Brewster

Emily Brewster, ACSM-CPT, is a Personal Trainer at IronPlate Studios. After 3 years of success working with IronPlate as a client, Emily decided to use her passion to help others succeed. 

Having danced ballet avidly for over 14 years, it came as a shock to Emily when she realized how far her health and fitness had gotten away from her during her college years. However, by focusing on small changes and a lot of hard work, she, along with the help of the IronPlate team, was able to lose over 30 lbs and dramatically improve her mental and physical health.

In 2016 Emily decided to transition from ballet and theater into health and fitness and began working with and studying under IronPlate Studios' trainers Kristin Reisinger and Lindsay Arthur. They mentored her and provided hands-on knowledge and training that were crucial to her success. Now certified, Emily has made it her passion to help others find their own successes, whatever their goals may be.

Having lived in Hoboken for the past 3 years, Emily enjoys running along the waterfront and finding local yoga and dance classes in order to keep things interesting in her fitness routine.

Emily believes in the power of exercise and knows that with a little hard work and dedication, anything is possible.

 

Pedro DoAmaral

Pedro

Pedro DoAmaral, ISMA-CPT, is a personal trainer at IronPlate Studios, Pedro has been an athlete since a young age. Having been into martial arts since the ripe age of three years old, he has continued to expand into the fitness and nutrition area of health. 

Currently studying Biology at NJCU, Pedro never stops seeking to improve on what he already knows: self-improvement translates to doing what he loves at a higher efficiency. 

Pedro focuses heavily on the technical and scientific side of personal training. Under his belt he has accumulated experience in competitive soccer, amateur boxing, competitive swimming, and is now an avid strength athlete. His love for helping others stem from what he knows every person carries which is their physical potential. He believe achieving that potential leads to a life of actualization in all areas; health, mind, body, and spirit.

 

 

Denise Santiago

Denise Santiago, CPT, is a Personal Trainer for IronPlate Studios with over 6 years experience in the fitness industry. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Sayreville, NJ and is also a mother of three. Denise started her fitness journey 42 years ago as a gymnast, ballet dancer, tap dancer, jazz dancer, diving competitor and 50-yard dash track runner. 

Denise says her purpose is to make a difference in the lives of others by helping her clients create a positive vibe and healthy lifestyle together.  She especially enjoys working with clients on form, alignment, balance and strength. 

Denise resides in Newark, NJ and loves the beach, music, dancing and teaching Zumba.  Her motto is "Don’t ever be ashamed of your body. Fit looks different on everyone so train because you love your body, not because you hate it.  Healthy is the goal; not skinny.” 

 

 

Vincent Marrero

Vincent

Vincent Marrero, AAAI-CPT is a Personal Trainer for IronPlate Studios. He has over 2 years experience as a Personal Trainer working with dozens of clients ranging from the athletic to those with injury.

Vincent loves to use his athletic background to his advantage when it comes to training his clients. His background ranges from MMA, Brazliian Jiu Jitsu and boxing to traditional lifting and complex movements. Vincent strives to incorporate this range of skills and experience into his programs  tailoring all programs to the clients limitations, needs and wants. 

Vincent was born and raised in Downtown Jersey City and loves animals, sports, fitness, being outside and just enjoying life!
